angela was living in portland, oregon working as an interior designer, where her interest in natural stones expanded. she fell in love working with the huge slabs of granite, marble, limestone, soapstone, and travertine which came from all over the world. she felt as though she worked in God's art gallery. while living in the pacific northwest she also worked as a jewelry production assistant honing her skills at bench work. today angela lives in her hometown of dayton, ohio where she works out of her studio. angelflie design was launched as a full time business in november 2011.
angela cares deeply for the environment. she uses biodegrade and recycled materials when ever possible. she also uses non-toxic cleaning products for her pieces and gets ethically sourced gemstones and metals.
